I think flats are okay, or even dressy gold/silver sandals.

I would use the small black clutch. The satchel doesn’t match the formality of the dress.

Also, take a wrap if you can. Temps drop a lot at night.

Can you take a photo with the ballet shoes and black clutch?

KatzeB :

Not the satchel  and , sorry, not those clunky wedges or even that patterned bag. I don’t think brown and yellowish beige go at all with that dress ( in which you look very nice I might add)

I think pink, or a metallic or even nude sandals and bag  And plain,  not patterned .

Sunshine024 :  I wore that Lulu’s dress (right) to a semi-formal wedding this summer!  Obsessed with it.

The shoes and bag in the new photo are fine.  Are they the best choice? No, but personally I’ve moved beyond spending money on things I’ll rarely wear. If someone side eyes me because of it, that’s their problem.

I think the wedges are fine too. I too cannot wear heels anymore either sadly. I think the dress is cute.

KatzeB :  That looks great. Skip the black tights. You’ll be too hot, and no one wears them in wine country.

KatzeB :  you’re very welcome. You would have fit in perfectly at my wedding. Don’t worry.

Which CA wine country are you going to?
