Love the shoes and the dress!  I think your hair would look good half up/half down with loose curls around your shoulders and with volume on top.  Are you wearing a veil?

I actually think an updo would look better than half up/half down, to really show off the great neckline of the dress. Although it’s hard for me to tell how long your hair is. But I’m thinking something clean and modern looking, like this twist:

I agree, I wouldn’t do anything slicked back either. If you do it back give it volume. I get the sense you aren’t a ringlet curl type gal, so i’d go with big, BIG puffy hair.

Like  maybe get the back somewhat like@AutumnElegance:‘s picture, but have the middle a faux-hawk. hahaha

up:

down: (not in red of course) it’s like twisted on top of her head, and goes into a ponytail at the back.

Yeah, like Kkaattii said, I think you can have it  be a neat twist in the back but they can still give you some volume on the top. Just be clear with your hair stylist what you want. I hate having my hair slicked down against my scalp so I know what you mean. But I think you want something relatively modern and put-together looking to go with that dress.

@wifegoodman:  I think a slightly tidier version of no.2 pick, with maybe a string of pearls in a blush colour pleated in as well.  It goes with the fun-ness of your dress (which I love BTW!)

@wifegoodman:  My pleasure!  That’s the one!  I wish my hair was long enough to pleat like that :-(.  Ahhh slowly, slowly, one day soon…

First of all let me say I really love this dress. In my opinion a classic updo would complement it! Good luck!!
