(Closed) Ideas on alterations – Bustle? What type?

I would go for a 1 or 3 point over bustle. Don’t worry though, the seamstress will show you your options and you can decide.

@AlwaysSunny:  I would disagree.  Over bustles especially 1-3 can bust easily

 

@canway11:  I would recommend a underbustle.  They do not break as easily.

Personally I love what I think is called a “ballroom” buslte. It pulls the train up but ends up looking like there just wasnt one period, less fluffy comforter look! Here is a great link with several different style ideas.

Here is my underbustle it was a 8 point under bustle. Now this wasn’t the finaly so it is a little off this was just pinned up.

@chasesgirl:  That’s a great resource. 

I had a one point over bustle. I personally dislike the look of under bustles. You can probably do either with your dress so you can decide which you prefer the look of.

I think a french bustle would be great on that dress.
