I would leave them alone. The more you put on them, the more attention you bring to them.

If you absolutely must have them blend with your decor, you could use Tempaper- a type of wall paper that literally peels off with no damage to the underlying surface. It was designed for rentors.

Otherwise, you could cover them with pictures of you, your Fiance, and your families. It would give your guests something to look at. Or, use old wedding pictures- ask all your married guests to send you one.

I would either leave them alone or something like Christmas lights around them.
