Perhaps you can make a few physical coupons or cards to hand out. I like the living social/groupon idea, but word of mouth from current clients is always best, because the people they’re talking to know them and give much more credibility to their opinion than perhaps they would for an online ad.

If you can make a deal where a current client’s friend comes in and says X referred them, and they each get a % off that next visit, you may see more long-lasting results. One small discount and providing good service could cause your business to spread like wildfire with satisfied (and referring!) customers/clients.
