1.) If you have sashes or another accent on your dresses make your MOHs different (ie…I was Maid/Matron of Honor at friends wedding and had a white sash. All the other girls had coloured to match the dress).

2.) Have her wear her hair similar to yours, while the Bridesmaid or Best Man have a different style

3.) Jewelry choice. My Maid/Matron of Honor is getting a different necklace to wear then my two BMs.

4.) A completely different dress then BMs

5.) Same dress, different color then BMs

The change can be subtle. People will know who she is. She will proceed you down the aisle, be standing next to you at the alter, holding your flowers, trailing you to ensure your train isn’t going to kill you and will likely sit next to you at the head table.

Have her wear a belt of the same material as the dress… or one with beading that you may find for a brides dress.

For example if your bridesmaids are all in blue, your Maid/Matron of Honor can wear a white belt on the dress (depending on the style) to set her apart but not TOO apart.

Another option would be to have flowers in her hair when the other girls dont..
