This is one of the reasons I wish I lived in a bigger town. It makes me sad to see all the meetup posts but there’s hardly anyone from my area on the bee…so I have no one to “meetup” with.
I think if there were bees in my area I could get to know I would have invited them or I’d go and help out at their wedding if needed.

I’d totally do it! There’s a few bees that I feel if we lived closer, we’d be friends. However, my wedding has already happened so I can’t really do anything with that.
I did invite someone I met off of Craigslist thou. I posted an ad looking for a roommate (to replace me when I moved out), we emailed back & forth about the house & the roomies & became kinda e-pen pals for months. I invited her to my wedding & I was invited to hers. She moved here about 2 weeks before my wedding & got married 1 week after me. I wasn’t back from my honeymoon in time for me to go to hers. However, when she came & people asked how we were friends she said “we aren’t friends”. It was a little awkward but oh well.

@camrie: I feel the same way about being in a small town. I want a meet-up!

@serabell “we arent friends”!!! oh seriously…what a weird response!! But thats cool that you did that!! I actually met a girl in line for a bridal fair and we have corresponded a ton since then and have met up. She invited me to her engagement party but I couldnt make it!! 🙁

I actually have this issue with a friend I met through one of my horse websites. She is actually the one that helped me get my horse and put the first weeks of training in. We’ve come to be fairly close, and have visited each other, but she lives in Texas and doesn’t know anyone else who is coming to the wedding.
I’m meeting up with my first Bee in a couple of weeks. I’m excited, because I don’t have a lot of Chicago friends outside of school.

I never thought of this before, but yea I totally would – I don’t know if any bees would come, but I’d invite them! This is a cute thread and makes me remember why I like WB so much…
Oh and serabell -if I lived closer I would help you take care of your ringworm box kitties!!

I invited Meerkat to stop by my reception, but she already had plans. 🙂
I know you said not a blogger, but she’s the only bee of any kind who I really interact with who is near where we got married.
Would I go to another bee’s wedding? Heck yes! And I’d take pictures for everyone else who couldn’t join us! 🙂

If we’d gotten close enough to merit an invitation, I’d definitely go. The bees I’ve met in real life were awesome and their weddings all sounded like a ton of fun.

@Baileyh – Yea, I’m still a little confused about it! I haven’t heard from her since thou.
@Rachaelrobin – Thank you :). No one wanted to help, except once my friend helped wash them & another friend visited them once. So many bee’s have supported me, which helped me thru the tough times so in a way you totally helped :).
