I don’t know if I have a dream job either. I like to think I’d be a travel or food blogger but uhhh I don’t blog, travel or like describing food haha. I guess I’d just wanna be paid to travel and eat!

For a more serious job, I would work for the CDC travelling around the world studying emerging infectious disease outbreaks.

For a more “fun” job, I would be a professional photographer who travelled the world taking awesome pictures (both on land and under water).

But in reality, I’d still give it all up to be a Stay-At-Home Mom (who has extra money to travel the world).

Are we seeing a trend here?!?!  🙂

I’d want to be a writer – and actually make a living doing it. Too bad I have no talent.

@AllShookUp:  I have a degree in ESL, and I can say living as an ESL Instructor was one of the rewarding, fun, creative laid back jobs I could ever have. I was so sad when we had to move and I had to leave that job… still searching for an ESL job here.

Top of my mind I think I’d want to be a singer – the famous kind.

But in reality I know I’d want to be a stay at home mom.

I have a few:

  • Personal shopper
  • Food critic
  • Psychiatric nurse
  • Psychologist (I love psychology!!)

I’m a geriatric nurse right now, and I work with dementia/Alzheimers patients. For the most part, I love my job on most nights.

A few years ago I read the book “the art of non conformity” that asked this very question. At that time I wanted to run a sleepy little coffee shop where people would come in and knit and read books and I could play music on the stage when it was slow. and NOW I do that! Only its a fairly popular shop and there are a lot of demanding in-out customers, no so sleepy, and its rarely ever slow enough for me to play music… but it is a lof of fun!

If I had to choose something else, I would be a yoga teacher… only one that can pay the bills and have $$$ left over to travel.

OR I would like to be a professional musician… again… one that can pay the bills and travel the world

I would love to own land and flower gardens, and have my own flower shop.

Or own a spa. I would be a regular customer too. 😉

Or own a gift shop and sell arts and crafts from different parts of the world.

I would be a Reproductive Endocrinologist.

I figured out that being a doctor was a possibility after paying a lot of for grad school, and I would have to start over again, and I can’t afford to do so.

I’d go back to being a preschool teacher. That was my most favorite job & I daydream about doing it all the time! The money though…well it’s pretty non-existant. Frown
