What advice would you give to yourself if you could turn back the clock?
I sometimes wish that there was a time machine to transport me back to myself when i was younger so i could impart all the shit *ahem* knowledge that I’ve learned about myself, friends and family.
If i could turn back the clock on my 24 year old self, i would tell her: Stop wasting your time on that douchebag. You’re going to be happy one day. You will have someone who loves you dearly, you will be able to trust again, you will have so much happiness that many people will look at you in envy. Who you are now, is not what you will be forever. Have faith. I would then give her some micro mini and tell my 24 year old self “YOLO“.
So with that being said, what would you do if you could turn back time? Yes I just used a Cher lyric, sue me. Fire away, bees!

I would probably kick my arse and get my younger self to take more risks.
But on the other hand, I firmly believe that, without all the experiences I’ve had, I wouldn’t be where I am today – married to a wonderful man, working in a good(ish) job, with a loving family, and buying a house in two months.

I would be too scared to change the past in case I went down a different path and didn’t meet my FH. I made some pretty stupid mistakes but I learnt from them and I guess thats the main thing 🙂

@Natto: I would probably hit myself in the face until I learned to pay attention in class, and ended up with better grades so I could study the thing I was made to study and not the degree I’m taking… (also, I met my guy prior to college, so I think it would be ok if I changed the past a little bit)

If I could turn back time,
– I wouldn’t have been in so many long relationships.
– I would have chosen a different major in college.
– I would have NOT plucked my eyebrows every single day.
– I would have dressed better in high school & had gotten contacts earlier.
– I wouldn’t have been so shy.
– I wouldn’t have worn a bra when I was like 10 so perhaps my boobs would have breathed & I’d have some today.
– I would have said “bye” when I walked out that door the last time I saw my dad.
(I’m sure I have more, but I’ll stop here.)

Message to my younger self: Listen to your mother.

I would have gone away to college. I lived at home too long and took on a lot of family drama that led to some arrested development I’m still dealing with. It would have also led to me being around other people with productive habits that would have rubbed off on me.
