@Mrs.Sunflower:  Beautiful!  I think I may have tried that one on at some point in the beginning of my dress shopping!  It’s hard to go wrong with Alvina!  And $400? Wow!

Lazaro… I probably WOULD have gotten it if I were able to get my hands on it.  Sadly I could not find it anywhere. =(

I’d spend the first dollars on a personal trainer and some liposuction, but then I’d blow a lot of cash on Sterling by Monique Lhuillier.

It wouldn’t be this exact dress, but something very similar.

This Reem Acra was my absolute favorite dress… I still dream of it

I have no idea about the price tag (Reem acra is far from cheap), but the main problems was that it was nowhere to be found in Spain, and I had to fly to London just to try it on, which didn’t seem very reasonable… *sigh

@eloping:  LOL, tell me about it. The styling of that model leaves a lot to be desired, but I do love the dress.

@September29:  It was marked as 3 $ signs on “that other wedding site,” so $3-5K. I think I read somewhere that it’s about $4k. My mom is the greatest bargain hunter this side of extreme couponing, so maybe we’ll get lucky with a sample sale somewhere ๐Ÿ™‚

@KeyWest114:  I’m pretty sure that person was fibbing. I’ve seen pre-owned dresses for sale where the stated price they paid was much more than it actually is. It’s so they can ask for higher prices. Still …. the Oscar 82E11 is just a dream now in the world of pre-owned dresses. I haven’t been able to unearth one.
