I would definitely have something custom made – my measurements are so difficult!!

I posted this yesterday in a similar thread but I’m obsessed with Monique Lhuillier and would have this one custom made to fit me perfectly. Then I would never take it off.

I wanted a rivini, but with a $4500 price tag it was out of the question. I don’t understand why they are so overpriced!! The cost of the material is not even a fourth of the cost of dresses over $2K. I ended up choosing a pronovias for $2K, after trying on so many dresses over $3k there was no going back to non-silk material. My dress is 100% dupioni silk. But i just love rivini, i still think about that dress.

*sigh* I would have Jim Hjelm make me a dress. I <3 trumpet skirts and Alecon lace!

I would go to vera wang herself and have her custom designer a gown with me… and after the wedding she would alter it so I could have a beautiful dress to wear out on our 1st anniversary! Innocent

I would have a dress very similar to the one that I have now….Sweeheart neckline, poofy skirt with some pick up ruffels, corset back, small train… but i would get rid of peals.

If money was no option, I would have gone with either of these two (I’m currently a short-dress bride, but the Amsale dress was ‘the one’ as far as ball gowns go – I tried it on and everything, just couldn’t afford the price tag). The Melissa Sweet shorter dress is my dream reception dress.

I would definitely get my dress from Monique L’Huillier (prob spelled that wrong!) and shoes from Christian Laboutin….I realize that I’m sort of ripping off Carrie from Sex and the City, but hey…it’s fabulous 🙂

OOoh Anne Barge is amazing…I think I’d want a Modern Trousseau/Monique L hybrid fit to perfection!
