As a self-proclaimed professor of all things Alice and a fellow Alice bride, it all depends on what sort of Alice theme you’re going for!

Red is more of the “royal” feel, with the cards, roses, red/white queen, etc. I’ve seen some lovely Queen of Hearts themed weddings but I’m more of an Alice identifier myself, and while her dress was technically yellow (oh disney!) blue has become the standard Alice color! So blue is totally perfect for an Alice wedding! I love your ideas of adding deep purples as well!

And you can always make your own STDs! The best Alice ones I’ve seen, or at least my personal favorites, are the ones that are made to look like old worn storybook pages, in a dark brown “aged book” color with the black script!

Another Alice-y bride here! In the book of Alice, anything goes and nothing makes sense so use the colors you like. I’m doing silver and purple which are decidely un-Alice-y but I’m making it work (I think).

I love the keys and bottles. I’m doing little drink me bottles for the tables.

Style Me Pretty had some great inspiration boards on fairy tales and such. Without making it look childish or cheapie..If that’s what you are going for. I’d search there if I were you. They have TONS of great ideas too.

We’re not using red at all because we don’t like the color so we’re staying away from pulling the cards or “royalty” into our theme. We’re sticking with the “classic” alice in wonderland but its kinda whimsical also because we are using teal, purple, bright green, and fuschia. 🙂 Looks pretty good so far.
