I would put your girls in grey or have each of them wear a different color of fall – Orange, Deep purple, Green, etc. have them be your pop of color and then you could all carry white or ivory flowers. Your gown is beautiful!

You could either go totally with the untraditional wow factor and put them in white or is say in one if your accent colors if you don’t have those yet since I think you said your weddiNg Was Halloween on a previous post I think purple could look fabulous and Halloween fun with elegance without being in your face orange and black

gijanedoe:  I think that shade is perfect bright enough to make the black pop but dark enough to go with a grey suit and be fall colors

If you aren’t focusing on putting a Halloween feel but more of a fall I think a bright vibrant red would make you pop also

gijanedoe:  I plan to wear red and I am putting my maids in ivory for the contrast. and I LOVE that you are wearing black. You could always put them in gray  with the groomsmen, and since you can play on the variation of gray you choose there is room to not make them matchy with the groomsmen.

Oh I love the purple idea. Here is a pic of it in reverse.

But maybe you can do something like this:

I love those convertible dresses. They are so classy but give bmaids the opportunity to wear something slightly different.

gijanedoe:  I posted it and then edited it when i thought of the convertible dresses that’s probably why you didn’t see it. Because the colors are so different, gray and purple, I think the same one color would be better then use different dresses for all four or two different dresses and do two and two.

I’m sure it will be lovely either way. and the gray will look great against that purple and black. What color is the groom wearing? You may have mentioned and I just missed it.

You could have your Fiance in black pants with an ivory jacket with black trim and the bridesmaids in ivory, your Fiance tux would pull it all together. You could also go with a deep burgundy for the bridesmaids. Love the black dress!!

jordmc24:  I love those first two pictures – I think it would look awesome with grooM and maids in ivory then bride and groomsmen in black. Matching but not!

gijanedoe:  to throw something else into the mix… what about silver?

The groom can wear the same as his men, or different. It’s up to you two. You two could be in black (although might be too much black in your couple photos?) with maids in silver (or as you’ve said, purple) and men in grey.
