@FMM:  I couldn’t remember who gave that advice but I’m using it! We’re doing a wine tasting and having a night away if I don’t get pregnantthis month!

Op I agree with FMM re exhausting all options. My friend did the same and 4 years later shehadd her beautiful baby boy.

@phoebephoebo: It really does work, there were some months were I would have been excited to be pregnant (of course) but would have been disppointed about missing out on that months activity!!!! And most of the time it involved alcohol πŸ˜‰

I’m just wondering if you’ve tried alternative therapies! I did a Whole 30 (basically extreme paleo eating) in the fall, and through reading the forums and the book It Starts with Food I read a lot of success stories of people struggling with infertility and PCOS and having success just by changing their diet!

I am not TTC, but do know that sometimes looking outside of the box of traditional medicine there can be other ways to help us!

Best of luck to you! I can’t imagine how hard this process has been!

@Rabia:  First off, I will never tell you to just relax.  I know it too often just doesn’t work that way.  I WILL tell you though that sometimes miracles happen.  I’ve been through the wringer on this stupid journey.  It’s been 3.5 years since we started trying and we’ve had 6 losses in addition to struggling to get pregnant to start.  I have PCOS, Hashimotos, MTHFR mutations, thin lining, progesterone deficiency, HAD a septum (now finally gone), and am left with an arcuate uterus.  I’ve had to do testing up the wazoo.  I’ve had to have 2 surgeries.  I take what feels like a mountain of vitamins each day because of deficiencies and issues.  I’ve had to fight drs for what I’ve needed, and I’ve had to deal with incompetent drs.  It’s been hell.

However, I’m also currently 11w1d pregnant.  I’ve never even made it TO 5 weeks before let alone past it.  I’ve never had a successful u/s before.  I’ve never heard my baby’s heartbeat before.  Life holds no guarantees… but I came about one breath from giving up last year.  If I’d have relaxed and let go, I wouldn’t be here.  I’m so glad I didn’t.  I’m hoping and praying for you that your miracle is on it’s way to you soon.  *hugs*

Rabia:  Hi Rabia. hope you are well and thanks so much for asking. My marriage has unfortunately been really rocky since I was last on here. Trying to have a baby now would be a disaster for everyone involved so for the time being we are not trying. I am hoping things turn around and that I won’t be too old to try by the time they are. Am 38 and a half now. I am sad about it but I have no choice. I must try to stay positive and try my best to save the marriage first. How aew you doing?
