I’m gonna punch a baby!
Ok, I’m not going to punch a baby. BUT SERIOUSLY. We already registered to use their tuxes for our wedding, which is less than four months away. SYNC YOUR SYSTEMS AND QUIT HARASSING ME YOU HILLBILLIES!
Rant end.

we may not even like the way they look, i mean, no guarantees, they usually eff up tuxes at every wedding i’ve been to/in! but hey! they were the only chain we could use across multiple states!
they call me every. stinkin. day. Hannalore’s here and David’s Bridal did before I ripped them a new one, and the latest woman from MW got an earful today too! STOP CALLING ME. STOPCALLINGMESTOPCALLINGMESTOPCALLINGME

They haven’t called me one but their in-store customer service is terrible. If I hadn’t gotten a deal on our tuxes I would have gone somewhere else.

@ellyse: I feel like I didn’t even get a deal on the tuxes. Tell me why my son’s tux cost the same as the Groomsmen tux when 1) they aren’t even the same size! 2) it wasn’t even the same tux!
$150 gone down the drain

OH MY GOSH!!! I totally feel you! I went to a bridal expo, and SOOO many annoying vendors call me now! Even if I had thought of using some before, their pestering would really change my mind!

@ellyse: its funny, the girls at the one by my office (there are like 6 here) are super nice and thats why we ended up going with them. that, and they were cheap. we considered joseph a bank as well but the guys in there just could not be bothered to help me. not to mention you can’t actually see their overpriced tuxes in person before you order, and he was trying to cram suit purchases down my throat. so awkward.
now if i could just get MW to quit blowing me up.

I have the SAME PROBLEM with Saavi! We went and looked and got in the system like 5 months ago. I get a phone call and an email at least every 2 weeks reminding me when my wedding is. DUH Like I don’t know??? We actually ended up not going with them because they were more expensive than some others we tried. Do they not take a hint? Honestly, why do they need measurements 4 months in advance? Fiance is going like a month in advance so they are as accurate as possible.

@lindseyl06: Thankfully I was able to get the Vera Wang tux Fiance picked out for $100. I had a brief job at Davids Bridal and met Mens Warehouses regional manager. I did some competitive shopping for them and he gave me more that 50% off. That is the only reason we went through them!
@TwoStatesBride: I am almost positive its just the store I went into. The girl who helped us talked crap about other customers in the store to us and made my FI’s grandpa feel bad for getting measured somewhere else. He was just trying to help and we still had 3 months to go.

Make sure they put both shoes in the garment bag when your GMs go pick up their tuxes. My Fiance was a Groomsmen two years ago and we pretty much just picked up the tux the day before the wedding and hung it in the closet until we took it to the grooms house 45 minutes away the day of the wedding. It was when my Fiance was getting ready that we realized they only put one shoe in the bag. Had we been at home it wouldn’t have been a problem because my Fiance has black, ploished shoes that would have worked, but instead he had to cram his size 12 feet into size 10 (ugly non-polished) shoes that the FoB owned.
So yeah, make sure they put two shoes in the bag (I seriously don’t even know how you fuck this up, or don’t fix it when you realize you have 1 left shoe up at the register later that day).

@FionnaCake: I think I read your story on another thread at some point. Fiance was in his brother’s wedding last year and they gave him a XXXL shirt and length 40 pants … He’s a small to medium and about a 32 length. What the heck do they do with their measurements??
