1ct Tiffany Novo or 0.85ct Classic setting in yellow gold. Still holding out hope though haha!

I normally don’t like halo rings but that one is georgeous!

I would go with this ring except in yellow gold ๐Ÿ™‚

Probably a 2ct flawless emerald cut with 1ct trillion side stones on platinum. Love!

@freshflowers:  I adore my ring, and wouldn’t be comfortable with anything larger or more expensive but I do LOVE this ring from birks – but at 3 times the price (it’s platinum instead of white gold and it’s Birks….) I can’t imagine spending the money.  (although the little silver ring box is super adorable….

(which is really really similar to mine…and i like mine better..)

Oh, I like this game!  If money was no object, I’d pick either a RB (2-4 carats) or a cushion (2.5-4.5 carats) solitaire with double prongs in a 2.5mm platinum channel setting with milgrain, and surprise aquamarines for the profile. ๐Ÿ™‚ *sigh*

ETA: Of course, all of the rocks (not just the center) would have to be D coloured, flawless, super ideal cut, excellent symmetry & polish, with no fluorescence! ^.^

@freshflowers:  Pretty much what I already have, but with a few minor adjustments.  I adore my round cut diamond in it’s halo setting, but if money were no object I might go a little bigger.  Not by much, but maybe go up to 1.5 or 1.75 carats for the center stone.  And I would love it in rose gold.  Fiance was afraid that rose gold is too soft a metal and may not hold up as well, but if money was no object, I’d just go for it and pay for the repairs later on if necessary.

It’s not really about not being able to afford it, i just don’t feel comfortable spending that much money on something. I’d be terrified of losing or damaging it (i’ve lost so many rings). I’m also not much of a jewelry lover, i only wear my engagement ring and my graduation ring. Maybe later on as an anniversary gift and after we’re a bit more settled.

If it was still going to be something that I would wear everyday then I would keep my setting and just upgrade the diamond to something with great specs around 1CT. I have 1/3 carat now which suits me just fine.

if money were not an object, I would pick my ring all over again but flawless and color D, and also a 2.5-3ct.

This is my ring, the size is 1.25. There are 2 feathers that are covered by the prongs, and the color is a G, and is SI1

My setting but instead of a 1 ct treated natural round cut ruby, it would be a 2.5-3 carat untreated natural round cut ruby with the same color. I tried on over 100 settings to find my setting so it’s perfect for me. I don’t want to go too big too.

Edit: I just looked up the specs. It’ll only cost $70,000 for a 2.52 carat untreated natural ruby in the color I want. I sent my husband the specs but I don’t think he’s willing to allow an upgrade.

I love large stones and I wouldn’t say no to Khloe Kardasians massive cushion!
