I really just wanted my guest’s to remember how much fun they had and how much love, family and friendship there was. And, there was… And they had a great time. I wish I could re live that day over and over

I voted other. I want our guests to remember lots but I want them to remember us and how happy we were that day 🙂

Joy – the joy of promising to love one another while surrounded by our family and friends.

@engagedsagebrush:  Sounds like an occasion worthy of a new pair of Chuck Taylor’s, in an exciting colour.  Maybe even a custom pair!

@jpalm13:  Sad?  Nonsense.  If that’s important to you, and your family, it’s something to make sure you do right, and that is one beautiful cake.

I put other because I want it to be a combination of all of the above! My Fiance and I have planned and paid for our wedding so far so it is a sense of achievement for us. I really want people to think that against all odds we managed to do it because we have had so much opposition and I know for a fact that a few people out there don’t want us to make it.

@Bridebee13:  how in love we seemed and how much fun everyone had partying.

I guarantee guests will wake up the next day and not remember what the dress, the center pieces, and the other decor looked like. I recall nothing from any of the weddings i’ve attended besides a white dress, the emotion between the couple and their families during the ceremony, and how fun/enjoyable the reception was.

The food. For us it was important people had a great meal, yummy drinks and awesome cakes. People spent a pretty penny traveling to my wedding,  so the least I could do was feed them well.

The love and the fun. Happily, that seems to have been the case. Our friends are jokingly bugging us about getting married again this summer, haha.

I’m so torn on my answer – I went with music/dancing. I want my guests to enjoy and remember our ceremony for sure. We’re putting a lot of money there, but a lot of that is what will make us happy because at the end of the day, the ceremony is about us. Guest-wise, our biggest splurges are for the atmosphere at the reception (including an open bar), because I want our guests to have a great time and remember that!
