I’m not doing the garter or the bouquet toss. I was considering buying one just cause they have pretty ones, but my Fiance told me if I do that then his family (well…his sister especially) will try to get me to do the garter toss or people will think i should because of the garter…if that makes any sense.

I’m not doing the toss either because I’ve always dreaded being pushed up there myself at other people’s weddings.  I’m going to wear a garter though just because I think they look cute and it will be another memento to have after the wedding.

Im not doing either.  You would probably see my garter thru the dress if I chose to wear one anyway.

I’ll be the other! I’m not sure if I’ll be wearing a garter, but I will definitely not be doing a toss. There are so many cute garters but I’m not sure if I want to spend the extra money on something no one but Fiance will see.

No garter or toss for me. I never saw the point in wearing one.

I wasn’t planning on wearing a garter, since we both hate the garter toss, but my father recently found my mom’s garter from their wedding, and it will be a nice way of having her with me on the day.

I’m most likely not doing a garter toss, but like you, I have found some really pretty ones that I’ve fallen in love with.  It’s up in the air for me right now though as to if I’ll actually indulge and buy one.

I wore a garter, and I bought a cheap one as a ‘stunt garter’ that we were going to attach a gift card to and just toss it sans the embarassing parts, but then we left the toss garter at home, so Fiance just threw a gift card :o). Not exactly tradition, but we didn’t hear any complaining, either!

I’ll be wearing a garter because my mom is looking forward to making me one, but I’m not doing a toss.

I didn’t do the garter toss. My main reason was we had a small wedding of 20 some people either all being married or to young.

But I did wear one! My husband & I went up to the room where everyone got ready after the ceremony & he took it off in private! πŸ™‚

@pandaboo: I didn’t do either because we only invited our close family (around 20 people) all who was married or children. Only two people there wasn’t married & they are engaged to each other now. Wasn’t at the time but we thought it would be silly for only one guy & one girl to be standing there waiting to catch them. lol

We didn’t do the garter toss, and I never even thought about the fact that I cuold still wear one! Kind of wish I did because that would have been fun.
