my experience was great

the whole transaction was over in less than a week.

the dress came as described- pristine condition

i would do it again in a heartbeat!  i saved a ton of money.  my Pronovias dress retails $2500 new and i got it for $600, garment bag and shipping included, plus she threw in a new longline bra, a veil and a sash with a flower on it

i found my dress through preownedweddingdresses.com

I got my dress in a consignment shop for $250.  It is handmade and fits almost perfectly.  It retails for $1500 and I’m very happy with it.

Mine was fantastic.  I bought it on preownedweddingdresses.com.  Me and the seller became friends on Facebook, which made us trust each other more.  I sent her a check after I felt like I trusted her, she was holding it until I tried it on and made sure it was the one.  It was.  The dress retails now for $4,500, I got it for $1,400 I think it was.  She had it listed for more but lowered the price for me.

If it feels wrong once you start talking to someone, I say don’t do it.  But if it feels fine, go for it, you can save a ton of money on a dress you never would have been able to get before.

Oh also, if the dress is in salons, I definitely recommend going to try it on before you try to buy from someone.

Good luck!  Go with your gut!

We bought both of our dresses from a consignment store, and were glad we did.  Not only did we save money, but we got to try on the exact dresses we would be wearing, and take them home the same day.
