I would be a successful business owner, but I don’t have it in me. I’m not much of an entrepreneur and I don’t think this is for me. Realistically however, I think I will end up in a management position in my field within the next decade, but I want to do so all the while prioritizing a good balance between my career and my personal life. This is why I couldn’t choose any ”dream” that means I would have to sacrifice my privacy or quality of life by being a celebrity or working too long hours. It would make me successful, but I wouldn’t be happy.

In my dreams?  Broadway sensation Sutton Foster or a lead storyboard artist for one of the major animation houses.  Realistically?  I always love whatever theater work I get, and I’d also like to open either a yarn shop or a bookstore.  I’d also love to be a published author.  I think I’m simply determined to be a starving artist.  😛

I’d be a famous singer!! I’ve hesitated a lot when I was in high school between studying music or science… ended up going the “safe” way and I’m a pharmacist now, which was my “realistic” dream so really, I wouldn’t be anything else realistically!!

I would own a small, cozy, yet successful independent bookstore+cafe.

and be student loan free.

And or own a vegerterian cafe.

hence the word “own”. I hate cooking.

I play at what I thought were my dream jobs – rock cello and symphonic performance. I’ve got a standing offer at my dream symphony. And I like dabbling there but I would hate it if that was my daily life.

Current dream – adequately paid public elementary school teacher.

Dream job would have to be a professional gambler.

Realistic job I would love to open a home for foster care teenagers.

In reality I’m a Stay-At-Home Mom working on being a TW.  However,  I’m probably just a chauffeur.

For the record… 16 credits away from my degree that I won’t finish and about 7k left in student loans.   🙁

My dream is the same as my reality but I’d get paid like a superstar work my own hours so I can look after my personal dream animal collection at home. It involves a lot of massive fish tanks hahaha. I’m currently studying and on my way there. I want to work helping with conservation of animals. And I’m currently studying my bachelor of environments: wildlife and conservation biology.

My dreams have matured as I have; at this moment my dream would be to become an Ethnologist and behavioural psychologist. I would like to train medical therapy/assistance dogs too.

In reality I am a dog trainer, so I am almost there if I continue studying. I am a qualified fashion designer, that have done many different things from running a clothing factory, to payroll and recently  having my own graphic designing business…

nowmarriedgirl:  I write now, but in a dream world I would be a famous author. Other than that, I kind of wish I had pursued museum studies and gotten a job at a museum in New York or something.
