I would have gotten it two years earlier so wouldn’t have a waiting period 😛

I would have got it bezel-set. Stupid freaking prongs! And I would have got a smaller centre stone.

Although I absolutely ADORE my ring, I have recently fallen in love with a three stone BEZEL setting from JBEG. My wedding band has bezeled stones and I just love the way it feels, the look, the low maintenance aspect, etc. So I suppose if I were to redo my ring over I would consider a bezel three stone with slight milgrain. 🙂

@LilMsMicro: Yeah. It’s a 0.75 moissanite. We had the option of getting the same size diamond from his mother, but I wanted a moissy. But everyone assumes it is a diamond, and that’s huge for U.K. I’d like it to be smaller so I don’t have to keep dealing with comments, and just so it was comfier for day-to-day wear. I didn’t use to like bezels but I love them now!

My fiance worked with a jeweler to design the ring himself so he gets major props for that! He did an amazing job and I truly love my ring. IF, however, I had the chance to change anything I would either make the band slightly thinner or set it with an oval stone (mine’s cushion cut) to elongate my short fingers!

I wish it was 14K instead of 18K – it is too soft!  But you can only notice the wear on the underside of the ring, which isn’t often visible.

Because it was the only ring there… I would have made sure it was my size now I have to re-size it, it’s too loose.

I would have asked the jeweller if my ring were avalibe in rose gold, at the time I thought all options were shown, when I wennt shopping with my girfriend I learned all you have to do is ask and that most are avalibe in rose gold.

I would have gone with a micropave instead of pave. I think that’s it though! While sometimes I think about a bigger ring, I think it would be too much on my hand.

I am changing the one thing that bothers me but it might take a couple years. I hate hate hate my big fat prongs. So I am going to either go custom or buy a Tacori setting

Hurm..maybe a bigger stone? I went smaller for quality but I really do miss a bigger rock! Nothing over 1.3 princess cut though..
