I really loved how my wedding turned out. The only thing that really bummed me out was that I was frantically trying to finish the DIY decor projects up until the day before the wedding. So I wish I had either cut back on those projects or gotten them done earlier. And, minorly, I wish I had thought to cover the firewood before it got soaked because we couldn’t get the bonfire lit, but oh well.

Rowanberry : Your photographer missed all your detail shots? That’s horrible, I’m sorry to hear that. I agree with you 100% that you should not need to tell them to get those shots, it should be automatic for any wedding photographer!

I would have budgeted more time for the photographers
Lied about the start time on the wedding invite (we were late due to guests!)
Splurged on a better videographer (last minute decision so i went from no video to wanting more, lol)
I wouldn’t have wasted money on dress regret. Wish I would have trusted my gut and ordered the dress I loved first.
Would have requested a “to go” plate. Our wedding food was great, but we didn’t have much time to eat. My mom did save us a huge hunk of cake though.
Maybe a slight change in hairstyle, but definitely still big and curly
