I would have kept the same or had a destination wedding. At some points during the planning I wished I’d eloped but I never considered destination wedding until I found the bee. But the wedding was perfect, only way I’d do it over would be to have a destination wedding somewhere really nice

My day hasnt come yet but if I could go back I wouldve stood my ground and had an island destination wedding. It is what my Fiance and I originally wanted but we let our (well, my mom) parents talk us out of it and now over 200 people are being invited and if we include honeymoon then the total is crazy (to me).

@AlmostHisWife:  We’re having two weddings because of logistics, legalities, etc… the first one was 25 people on a sailboat in his country. It stressed me majorly and it wasn’t even the wedding I wanted, but in the end it was PERFECT.

The second one is at a restaurant in my country. This is ALSO stressing me majorly, and frankly I don’t see how it can top the first wedding. It should be about 50 people, which is way too many, but my mom kept adding stray relatives. I wish we were just going to city hall for the papers in my country.

@AlmostHisWife:  I’m happy to say we are eloping and having a 2 week weddingmoon. I would never have it any other way 😀

I loved the wedding, but I hated the planning.

I had a smaller wedding including every person I wanted to be there, and it was semi-destination (at a beautiful library in the city where Fiance and I met, 300 miles away from where we live now and a plane ride away for most of his friends and family), the planning was 95% smooth (and most things that weren’t were out of our hands…like our florist getting cancer halfway through the planning…she still did a fantastic job btw) and there isn’t a thing I would have changed, other than making sure somebody made me a bag of candy from our candy bar since I only had a chance to eat one bite all night, hahaha

I haven’t had my wedding yet so I can’t really answer.  I wish my Fiance would have let us go to Vegas with friends and family to do it though!  That’s kind of what I wanted to do in the beginning, but he was against it.  I LOVE weddings though with the party and dancing so I’m sure I will have a fabulous time at mine.  I actually enjoy wedding planning and overall I have been pretty stress free but I’m not sure it’s really worth all the money we’re spending in the end.  That being said, I still would have spent $10k or so to do it in Vegas.  So I wouldn’t have gone completely cheap either.

My wedding is fairly small anyway (hoping for 80 guests or so) so I am definitely happy with that.

I had a small wedding with 43 guest and it was nice but I would have preferred to elope like I had originally planned.

I voted twice *sheepish grin*.  As much as Darling Husband and I LOVED our wedding day in all of its glory (it was a good sized wedding at a 165 guests in the end), there’s always a part of me that dreams about that intimate beachside wedding.  🙂

We had a relatively small wedding (65 people) and I wouldn’t have changed a thing about it. It rained on our wedding day but did not rain where we had our wedding and we were able to have the ceremony in the apple orchard like we planned and the cocktail hour outside as well. If I could have changed anything, I would have looked over the reception space after it was decorated. We wrote out how we wanted it decorated and our venue did it for us. I wanted things done a very specific way and I would have liked to change a couple of things especially because you can see everything in the pictures. But oh well.

I didn’t love planning much but all the stress wa worth it. I loved our big wedding and don’t regret a thing – I wouldn’t change a thing despite always saying I wish we eloped throughout planning!

@AlmostHisWife:  In a heartbeat. I loved our wedding day!!! I did not love all of the planning, but I’d totally do it again. 🙂
