I was just posting on another bee’s thread about how she’s looking to branch out to something that isn’t necessary and she should enjoy her easy life now since she’s got it made…
Which had me thinking….
If I could go back 5 years to my younger self, I would say, “finish up college. Save your damn money, idiot. And here’s the winning lotto numbers.”
I blew a lot of it on clothes, my car, renting a nicer place when I could’ve been living at home…ugh. If only time travel were real…

“Keep your credit card(s) an spending in check!” Late payments or skipping a month affected me more than I would like to admit!
“Also, make sure your car isn’t leaking!!” About 5 years ago, my car was leaking oil, but I didn’t know (I was living in an apartment so always parking somewhere different and nothing notified me on my dashboard) and I ruined my engine, I believe. It would have costed me so much more money to replace than my car was even worth bleh!

1) choose a different college major! You are already a senior but it’s not too late,
2) be more involved in college activities, get internships,
3) break up with that loser! Your future husband is waiting just around the corner!

Part of being brave is being willing to tell the truth even when it makes you the bad guy. Don’t avoid the hard conversations just because you’re scared.

Every annoying thing your mother and grandmother tell you, which you are so sure is rubbish they brought upon themselves, will turn out to be true. LISTEN. LEARN THE EASY WAY!

TheGridMonster: HAHA! For real.. I put on a ton of weight after an injury about 4 years ago now because I did NOTHING to help not gain weight… Just carried on as I usually did but, barely moved. It took forever to get off.
I try really hard to eat and drink well now but, all I really want to do is live off of poutine, sour cream and onion chips, and pizza.

“You ARE smart enough, you CAN do it, stop procrastinating.”
Also, don’t let your sister getting married first get in the way of what you want. Do what you want WHEN YOU WANT IT. You don’t have to wait for “your turn”. You make it your own turn.
