1. Socialize more.

2. Brace yourself. You’re going to meet a great guy and get married in a few years.

If I could go back to five years ago, I would tell myself two things. 1) Don’t give your trust to people unless they seriously deserve it, and 2) Don’t let heartbreak grind you into the dirt. It will get better from here.

ETA: Also, for fun, 3) It’s OK to invest in some cute clothing! Ditch the hand-me-downs and rock something awesome for once. 🙂

Watching a Bridget Jones marathon and eating ice cream all weekend accomplishes nothing… And gains about 10 pounds. Felt gross for a month and took about 2 to get back in shape.

1. Love yourself and be confident in who you are

2. Put as much as you can into your retirement savings, starting NOW

3. It’s okay to admit when you are wrong. You don’t always have to be right and can learn a lot by admitting you don’t know.

Don’t sit there hoping he will change.  Follow your gut and break up now.  There’s a MUCH better guy out there!!!

1) Choose a different major. You were wrong, you will never “learn to love it.”

2) Don’t ever perm your hair ever again.

3) Be open to that new quite guy in the cafe, he’s your future husband.

As soon as you realize that you are no longer happy with your significant other, get out of the relationship.  Don’t waste time simply for the sake of convenience; it’s best to just be frank with yourself, be honest, and gently cut ties. You’ll find that it is easier than you thought it would be and much more preferable to dragging it out.  🙂

Enjoy your single days and bask in making decisions for you only. Every new phase comes with positives and negatives. Embrace where you are right now and love life.

You’re going to meet the guy youre going to marry in a couple of months. Start saving your money now. Also you hate your career choice. Stop wasting time on study because by the time you’ve done 5 more years of it you’ll really hate your career choice

Lots of things:

  • Get your diet sorted NOW before you pile on the weight! Go see a dietitian if need be.
  • Open up to family and friends about your mental health before it gets to the point of essentially suicidal.
  • Start saving!
  • You are with the right guy, but all the things you need to do before you get married won’t just fall into your lap. Work on them now!
