– Start growing your hair out.

– Pace yourself at work so you don’t get burned out.

– Wear your pretty clothes more.

– Stop feeling so %#<\! about the student loans. You’ll pay off enough to get the 773/mo payments down to 185/mo.

– He’s never going to marry you so stop buying his whole family Christmas presents. Go home and see your own family instead of “investing” in this relationship.

I don’t think I needed any advice 5 years ago. 6 years ago… that’s a whole different story.

You’re going to meet the guy. Don’t settle for these losers.

Also, don’t buy those cute sweaters and all the McDonalds, you’ll want that money in 5 years for cute sweaters and McDonalds.

Stop overspending! Paying off credit card debt is painfully slow.

And don’t be a slave to the sun. These crow’s feet are getting REAL.

Ooooo so many many things I’d say to myself. I really should have gone to an in state school, but since I met my husband in CO Id still go. It just means I paid a lot of money to find him 😉

1. Find Dave Ramsey right now and start his plan, become debt free ASAP! Learn how to budget.

2. dont do just the business minor, make it a double major! Learn finance and marketing because you’ll end up loving it and wishing you could study it more

3. Start trying for a baby sooner than you think, it’s going to take a long time

I would tell myself to enjoy the little things a bit more because they won’t last forever, but most importantly, I would have changed what I applied to college for or rather not gone back because it was a huge waste.

5 years later, I’m working at a job I hate, in an industry I’ve been in for a year and a half and I’m miserable.  I feel like I wasted 3 years in school and thousands of dollars. Now I’m starting over for the 4rd time, but this time I’m determined to open my own business like I should have 3 years ago.

How I wish time travel was a real thing!

I would have told my self to sort my fucking life out and be better with my finances, work hard but not too hard, not move house so much and would have told myself to never have gone anywhere near my ex….. oh hindsight!

Stop thinking that the guys who only want to see you at a party or bar and are never actually talking to you when you “hang out” are going to be the guys who you fall in love with.  The guy who only wants to see you at 2am on a Saturday night does not care about you, your friend who you vent to about your love life after all those guys are screwing you over, he cares about you.  He’s also going to ask you on date, you’re going to fall in love, and he’s going to ask you to marry him.  You’re 20 years old, you’re trying to find love all the wrong ways.  Besides, you actually already found him.
