KateyGrace:  I think the Tiffany 6 prong ring is just the most beautiful ring out there, it’s simple and classic.

“The Bachelor” has ruined Neil Lane for me. 😀 I’d probably pick Tiffany, if money were no object. (To be fair, I know notihng about Tacori.)

I would go with a company like Blue Nile or the UK based 77 Diamonds; they have a range of stock settings so you know exactly how it will look, but you can choose the stones, and get way more bang for your buck than elsewhere.

I think you should just decide what style you like. Tacori is details everywhere from every angle, glitzy etc (and if youre into that Verragio is also popular), Neil Lane makes expensive things look cheap IMO… too much micro pave, too much everything.  Tiffany is classic, elegant, more streamlined designs (That’s what I prefer and have), but they do not sell just settings, you’ll need to get your diamond from them too. That being said they’re all excellent cut diamonds and your budget certainly allows it. All the designers you posted are going to have a name brand up charge so it’s a pretty level playing field there.

SugaryKiss:  agreed! They’re also really open to customizing already existing designs. But truly, every ring I have seen from them is 100% stunning.

I’d go the custom route. That way you can get everything you want in a ring.

KateyGrace:  I would want a Blue Nile ring with at 2.2-2.4 Radiant Fancy Yellow center diamond. Like  below, but this one is a Louis Glick (my original inspiration, but they are like 40k and from Blue Nile you can get the same thing pretty much for 20k)

I’m not partial to brands when it comes to jewelry.  To me, it comes down to raw material worth.  I’d take that budget and get the biggest round solitare in a simple plain or pave band.  So if it had to be a brand, Tiffany, but I wouldn’t want to pay the Tiffany diamond price.  I’m not into all the details and stuff of Veragio or Tacori.  It’s lovely, but too much for my taste.

KateyGrace:  I personally love Tacori, although I do not have one. It seems like anytime I see a ring I’m in love with, it’s Tacori. They have alot of detail, but I dont feel like its overdone. I believe some of their detail is all hand done as well. The Tacori 2510 is probably one of my most FAVORITE rings ever. I also suggest going through pinterest and seeing what you are drawn to! I’ve attached a picture of the Tacori 2510
