@Omgbunnies:  I can deal with the uncertainties life brings (will my kids’ lives be OK? will my husband’s MS ever disable him?)  but it’s the question of an afterlife I’d want to know. I lost my dad over 22 years ago when he was only 67 and my mom turns 88 next week. I know she’s got to be scared about the end which of course is inevitable. I’m not religious but it doesn’t make sense to me that there wouldn’t be something after this life. Wish I could know.

My mom died when I was little so I would want to know where she is and if she is okay and if she’s peeking at me. 🙂 More than one I know…

I was going  to say health but the more I think about it I’d rather not know how I’m going to die and fixate on it the rest of my life… So I’d like to know how our finances will be and if were okay to buy a house or if we’ll always be living paycheck to paycheck. I can deal with the answer being negative but it’s something I’d love to know and be able to prepare for.

    What a difficult question…..

I guess I’d ask Hitler: What in the hell were you thinking; are you completely satisfied with yourself and all the misery you brought on worldwide?

I know I tend to joke a lot in my posts, but I’m a historian, so I’m serious about that question.

Even though, like many people, I sometimes have questions about things in life, I cannot really think of a question that I honestly would want to have answered right now.  I think I would rather wait until I meet the Lord face-to-face, and I can ask Him the answers then.

The reason I feel this way is that I do not think I really would want to know some of the answers to some of my questions while I am still on this earth. In His infinite wisdom and mercy, God has chosen to keep some things hidden from His children, and I have to trust that He is a loving Father and knows what is best for us. There is probably some information that, if we became aware of it, we could not really handle that knowledge.

I should also note that I personally am absolutely opposed to consulting psychics, mediums, and fortune tellers, as well as to having involvement in any and all occult practices. I would not ever want that television show, or any other like it, to air in my home.

However, as a strong, Bible-believing Christian, I am someone who believes strongly in the gifts of God’s Holy Spirit as described in Scripture, and that God often chooses to reveal Himself and His will to His children through words of knowledge and wisdom, prophecy, and even dreams. I only would want to experience this type of supernatural revelation that comes from God’s Holy Spirit and not ever from what the Bible calls familiar spirits, demons, or evil spirits that are the source of “information” provided by psychics, mediums and the like.

Honestly, I’m not sure there’s anything I would want to know. Part of life is the uncertainties, even when they’re not positive. Would I want to know about a lifetime of pain or sadness ahead of me? Definitely not. I’d rather enjoy life for what it is and what it has to offer. I think so much in life is heavily influenced by my (and other’s) actions and reactions – I don’t believe in destiny or that things are predetermined.
