Italy.  Definitely Italy.

But I also think North Carolina would be nice too.

@missmouse29: I’d live in any of those places too…

I’d just like to find a cute, small town where everything is walkable (I am so ready to get rid of my car and bike everywhere).

I would love to move to the tropics like Far North Queensland or Darwin (Australia). We live in Adelaide South Australia the weather here is pretty good, mild winters 15Celcius (59 F) to 20deg (68F). and hot summers when the weather is nice its 30 deg (86F)  but days like today it is 42 deg celcius (108F).

Far North Queensland is generally 25-30 year round. However my Darling Husband hates humidity so he wont consider it.

If I was to move to the US I would move to Portland Oregon as it’s meant to be a really liveable city, I might find it too cold though I guess you would get used to it.

Savannah, GA.  Fiance was stationed at Ft. Stewart when he was in the Army and I am absolutely in love with the city.. plus, it’s so close to the ocean!

Italy, France or Spain.  Once you get a taste of the lifestyle, you will really wonder why we can’t live like that here.

Amsterdam. I think that’s the only place other than New York that I would seriously consider living. Possibly Barcelona or San Francisco.

As much as I say I hate winter and the snow & I would love to live somewhere warmer, I don’t think I could ever move away from New England.

Definitely Santa Barbara or possibly Palo Alto. Or even Palm Dessert or Las Vegas. We both love heat, sun, and tropical climates including the desert. Tired of short days and darkness, rain, snow, gloom, and constant cloud cover.
