Loving this thread! I would love to be a pro-blogger. It seems SO cool…if only I could think of a topic that isn’t overdone already…?

Establish and run an animal sanctuary.

Like www.bestfriends.org. and even www.animalsanctuaryuk.com.

like shaema said, you can try half.com. i use campusi.com and it collects prices from every seller that offers it so it’s super easy to compare prices. i really wish i knew about this when i was in undergrad! though it’s been a help with my grad school books.

I would love to own a business with my future hubs 🙂 that is our plan one day…I want something I can pass to my family, that we can make out own, that is long and hard work but worth it because it is ours and exactly what we want…

I LOVE the idea of the craft store as well, that would be my mom and my dream !

I really just want to be a stay at home mom until our future kids are in school.

But if I have to pick a job it would be modeling. I love being in front of the camera and trying new poses and ideas on shoots.. I do a little bit now with local fashion shows and contests, but around here it is hard to make any money at it.

I have so many things I want to do once I am done with work (which I get to be if I can get pregnant in 2 years!).

The first passion I have is to make baskets – no, I don’t weave them, I line them, fill them with personalized goodies, warp them up pretty (not in that crappy plastic) and sell them. I LOVE doing this – I get to use my heart along with my brain to design them, I usually do baked goods in them in some way and while I don’t take compliments well, everyone loves them.

If I could leave my job and be rich while doing it, I would go to school to become a pastry chef – I want to learn how to make wedding cakes and fun things and just make cakes for brides who want something pretty but who can’t afford a $5000 cake! I’d do all sorts besides weddings too.

Anything to keep me in the kitchen baking and making fun things!

Indipendently wealthy! I dont’ want to have to pick a career and do the same thing all the time. I just want to do whatever the heck I feel like and be a jack (jane?) of all trades.

Now THAT is wishful thinking.

Wow, so much talent and creativity in here!

For me, I’d get my PhD in sociology and work on being a wedding photographer.

I would absolutely love to be a wedding planner. I love planning my own, and I woud love to plan other future brides. If I could quit my job and make my own business, I would be so happy. Unfortunately that is not in the stars for me right now. Maybe when my FH is making $50 an hour…then it might be possible…hahaha.

I absolutely love my job-working with children with Autism in a self-contained setting at a regular school (I use the term self-contained very loosely bc my students are out off and on all day long in the regular classroom with their neurotypical peers). I have waited my entire teaching career for this job. It has taken since my graduation from college with my BS degree in 1994 until 2 years ago for the funding and eligibility to “catch up” with the needs of students.

That being said-my dream job (aside from the one I have, which ignoring the huge paperwork factor-IS my dream job) I would love to buy a country estate and make it accessible for students with disabilities and fully fund it as a resort of sorts for families with children with disabilities-specifically Autism. Due to the nature of this disability, children with Autism have triggers that can often (and frequently do) set off tantrums, rages, and meltdowns that children with other disorders do not have on that level or of that magnitude. Sensory integration disorders make vacations for families of children with Autism almost impossible. With sensory rooms, therapists on staff, behavior interventionists and dieticians-it would be a place where these families can go to “re-create” and “rec-reate”. A place where everyone understands that your child is screaming because round food is touching square food, or the plate is the wrong color, or there isn’t anything wrong with laying on the floor because the ceiling fan is an item of fixation.

Sigh. I SO wish that I could do this.

@krissycake: OMG, that would be amazing!! I would love to take the Alice/Wendy voices from Kathryn Beaumont if she should ever retire…but at the same time, I would be devasted, because she’s been doing their voices since the ’50s!

On a side note, I’m planning on auditioning for characters…but my dream job would be Nemo. 🙂

Odd huh?

first off – gotta say i absolutely LOVE my career – however…if i could do whatever I wanted to do…

i’d become a dietician (low-carb).

I’m obsessed with health and diet and absolutely love the low-carb way of living and truly believe it’s one of the healthiest ways to live.

I want to help people achieve their weight loss goals through learning how and WHY to live a low-carb lifestyle as well as be a weight-loss coach.
