My old/borrowed/blue: I’m wearing my mom’s ‘It’s-not-an-engagement-ring’. (When her and dad were dating he gave her this ring with a blue stone and as he gave it to her he said ‘It’s not an engagement ring!’. He’s so silly. But I’ll be wearing that on my right hand.

New: Everything else. 🙂

Old – Thinking about the bracelet my grandfather gave my grandmother as a wedding gift, OR her charm bracelet she made as a teenager in the 30s.

New – My dress

Borrowed – Not sure yet.

Blue – The first bracelet could be a possibility because it is also blue.

I also bought a King George 1948 sixpence piece for my shoe.

Old: My grandmother’s ruby ring

New: Dress

Borrowed: A pearl bracelet, borrowed from one of my bridesmaids. Coincidentally, it was made in Italy and that’s where we honeymooned.

Blue: I had a heart cut from my dad’s old navy blue suit (he passed away a few years before my wedding) and sewn into my dress.

Technically, the ruby ring was also borrowed, but I really wanted 4 distinct things.

Something new: my dress

Something borrowed: same as something old

Something blue: Blue “I Do” stickers on the bottom of my shoes and there was blue on  my garter
