So…I’m finalizing addresses for invites and some of my cousins move around alot, so I sent out some emails to get mailing addresses.
Cousin A:123 Sesame Street
(I seriously think she might be stoned at the moment…I’m not joking)
Cousin B: 446 Cannon
So I reply, no I need your mailing address and they reply with their city (no apartment number which I know they have, or postal code)
I seriously do not want to invite these YAHOOS!

That’s terrible. I would call their parents and ask for their addresses – and tell them how they responded to you.

@PrairieGirl: They are 20 & 23….should I REALLLLLLLLLY have to call their parents?
One of them has a son!

@kermie: I’d just be a B and scan an invite and email it to them, tell them if you don’t get an email response in x days/rsvp date, then you’ll assume they’re not coming. If they can’t figure out where they live, they probably don’t know where their mailbox is

@kermie: OH I can relate. I can’t get my aunt’s address. I’ve called her and left several messages and I’ve called, texted, and e-mailed all her kids and they don’t know it and apparently never see her. Yet, they post of facebook all the time about seeing their mom over the weekend. UGH!! My last message to her was, “if I don’t get your address you get no invite” and I hung up.

@kermie: obiviously i take it as they are not coming…maybe thats just a good thing. although i can sense you are trying to do the nice thing..but clearly neither one of them have enough respect to bother and give you their actual correct address.

Yep. I’ve got three people on my invite list who would only send their e-mail addresses. My cousin… got a scanned invite. (Of course, he was hopping between Guam and Korea, having his own wedding, which I had no clue about. Their engagement was about a week long. Oh, how I envy them.) The other two got a “hey, are you coming or not?”

Awesome. Cousin C just sent me his email. Even though I specifically asked for his MAILING address.

I would actually mail it there and wait for the return and be like Oh well. I sent it to the address you gave me too bad you never got it!
