Thanks for the internet lesson mom! Only rainbows and unicorns from here on out! You know, you are the FIRST PERSON to ever post something like this. Points for originality.

Thank you for posting this! While this type of thread pops up from time to time, I honestly think they are needed!

People will say whatever they want on the internet and there’s not much anyone can do about that. I like the honesty around here.

Unfortunately a lot of people don’t follow this rule on the Internet! I don’t think that it’s right that snark is something to be prepared for when posting online, but it’s the reality.

Ozzygirl17:  Lighten up! No need to be the internet police. If the bee is too much for you, you’d best stay away from the entire rest of the internet.

Ozzygirl17:  While I agree some comments unnecessary, it is in your best interest to just glance over them and not give them a second thought.

This post won’t go well. There are a diverse group of women (and men) on these boards and they all have varying opinions and we won’t always agree or get along with everyone. Just how life is.

Honest and snark are two separate things. I think that if there is more of an attempt to be constructive in our honest opinions rather than unproductive snark, it will be more beneficial for all parties.

Such is life.  It’s not all unicorns and rainbows all the time.  If you someone asks for opinions, they better be prepared hear what they may not want to hear.  If they can’t handle it, dont ask and stay off the internet.

I personally think that these types of things go back to a just because you can, does not mean you should. Just because you can be mean to someone, doesn’t mean you should. Conversely, just because you can vent on the internet, doesn’t mean you should. Having some discretion goes a long way… on the internet and in real life. I won’t apologize for being honest with someone, just like I know that there are limits I won’t cross when it comes to offering suggestions or advice. If someone cannot navigate the internet and know when they have hit their limit, then maybe it isn’t the place for them.

Very true! I believe in honest opinions or constructive criticsm and PROVIDING A SOLUTION!  I have had to stop myself many times before typing and think “Is this going to be helpful at all?? Or just come off as rude”
