It’s a pretty dirty song if you read the lyrics, LOL.  Oh well! I think most of your guests won’t hear the words though!

I would never do it. ever. haha. But thats because I’m totally not like that! But if thats what you guys want to do, if thats what represents you guys as a couple. do it! Other people might find it offensive, but at the end of the day they’ll think ” At least it was fun, and they were true to themselves”.

Okay, I first have to tell you, I am probably around the same age as your mother, and I would not be offended; however, some people might be. I am the type of person that really listens to the words of songs, so I would totally understand where the song was coming from. If your family and his family are fairly well acquainted with the way you two are as a couple, then I think you could get away with it. I know I wouldn’t be able to do it, but I am much more conservative than what it seems you and your Fiance are.

Don’t think I could go that far personally…. However, on the note of your games, I LOVE it! I actually found a bunch of vintage wooden games (peg jumps, those ball in maze ones, etc) and put those out on the tables at our cocktail hour. It went over very well. I would totally be down for playing some Hungry Hungry Hippos at a wedding!!

Love that song! I have no advice on whether to use it though. I also love the idea of putting games at the tables. As a guest of many weddings where there’s a lot of waiting, I would certainly appreciate it. Hungry Hungry Hippo is a total winner.

I think it is completely inappropriate.

LOL! I don’t think I have the b#lls to do it, but if you do, more power to you! As a guest, if I heard that at a wedding I would LOVE it! Seriously, if you think the older people won’t notice/care, I say go for it.

I LOVE the Dan Band (the wedding singer you’re talking about)!! My Fiance and I joked about hiring him after watching The Hangover and the other movie he was in (can’t think of it right now). Sadly, the Future Mother-In-Law would have a stroke if we did anything that non-traditional.

Hmm… I love those made-for-a-14-year-old-boy movies too, (like really, I do, a lot!) but I would definitely cringe if I saw it done.  Not sure if your parents will be paying, but if so, you know, you could really embarrass and ruffle feathers too.  I would save it for the bachelor/bachelorette or after party.

And it’s Forgetting Sarah Marshall, isn’t it?

If there are going to be any nana’s there I’d say don’t do it. Too cringey for the nana’s!
