1) Lauren B hidden halo (but with plain band) with a modern cushion – probably 1-1.25ct
2) Octagon setting (white gold) with antique stone(would be able to go larger diamond because setting will be presumably much cheaper)

kd1025 : LOVE the octagon. It’s beautiful and unique but still very elegant and classic. Definitely would go with #2

Wow… I am so glad I came across that one! DK quote came in and it would give me so much more alllowance for a diamond. I’m sort of debating rose gold now but will probably stick with white. Eeeeek! Thank you everyone! I know it is ultimately what 8 like but it’s nice to hear opinions from others.
Thx 😘😘😘

I like the hidden halo. DK can create any look you want. There are other ring designers out there as well.

kd1025 : ohhhhhh… I bet it would be really pretty in rose gold too. I don’t know how to do it but maybe you do, there’s a way online to photoshop the color of the ring. Some bees were kind one time I asked to do that with a band I was getting my husband and it worked amazingly to help me decide. Maybe someone even can do it. I’m curious to see how it looks in rose gold too. But the White is just as gorgeous! You can’t go wrong with either gold in that octagon ring.
