Depends on the clarity and size, but I’d be leaning towards cuts on the rounder side of the spectrum.

I personally dislike black diamonds with yellow (or rose) gold, but thats just me 🙂

It depends on the shape but I love the Anna Sheffield three stone with trillion sides. The first one would go with your curved champagne diamond band.

I love black diamonds.  My own engagment ring is a black diamond, although it’s not large.  If it was I’d set it like the bee with the 4 carat (I think) in the simple solitare with lots of prongs.  The only change I’d make is to set it in a white metal, as that’s my favorite metal color.
