Sleep in ridiculously late, stay in my pjs all day, bake cookies, do tons of reading, clean, post on weddingbee….ahhh that just sounds wonderful! Oh, and I’d probably play some N64 ’cause I’ve gotten back into Zelda recently, lol Laughing

We’re in blizzard territory here. Even though the university never closes, I’m hoping my supervising professor calls a dangerous-travel day and cancels class.

I would love to bake cookies!  I really should make some food for next week so I don’t starve, too lazy!

My work closes for the day due to weather at least a couple times every winter…it’s so great! Brings me back to the school days, too. I would stay in my pajamas, take a nap on the couch, watch the Food Network all day. Ohhh and make a playlist on my iPod and take a long bubble bath.

I’d post on WB all. day. long. However, ice storms usually mean power loss… (my Fiance lives in KY & dealt with this last year) so in that case I’d bundle up & curl up with a book or play a game 🙂

Stay safe jrs!

So I used to live in a snow state and than I moved because I hate it..

But five years without snow makes me want to build a snowman and have a snow ball fight!

I kind of miss a white Christmas…but only kind of.

I would also back* Christmas cookies, make a gingerbread house, work on some crafts for the wedding, and stay in lounge wear for most of the day except to go outside to make my snowman.

*Edit: it should be bake. I don’t know how to back a cookie, unless that means eating it..because I can do that with honors.

Ooh I love snow days! I would make hot chocolate and walk around and enjoy looking at the snow on trees and everywhere.

I’m a teacher so of course I get as excited as the kids about snow days. Unfortunately, I live near the coast and we are more likely to get hurricane days. We already had 2 nor’easter days this year, which weren’t fun at all- can’t leave the house, no tv or internet. 🙁 People here freak out so much about snow it is kind of ridiculous. Last year we had a snow day because of the threat of snow. I don’t think there ended up being a single flake!

I’d be so happy I live in an apartment building and don’t have to shovel the driveway!  Last time we had a snow day here, the university closed (during exams!), the transit system shut down, and even the post was cancelled!!  The snow was waist high.  I had to shovel the front walk AND the driveway.  IT.  SUCKED.

I live in the snowbelt area.  Snow is my enemy.  (Sorry Miss Snow!)

@Brianalaura: No worries! I totally empathize and don’t particularly like the massive dumpings of snow after the first one. We’ve had thigh-high, but never waist-high. Ugh!

@snow – luckily for me, we’ve had the most snow free winter ever in Ontario so far!  It was a record; no snowfall in November at all.  That had NEVER happened in recorded weather history!  But we’re supposed to have a ton tonight so I guess it’s finally making up for it.  I don’t know how I was born a Canadian, I hate every season here except summer!

@Brianalaura- We had an incredibly mild fall too! Just a few flakes in Oct. and nothing in November. This 15 inches all of a sudden is rocking most of us. I think people who live in snowy climates get snow amnesia during the lovely summer months!
