I’m partial to lace, and I think the shape of the lace dress is more “classic.”  However, 2 months out seems like a lot could go wrong with getting a new dress ordered and altered, so that would make me nervous.  Also, which dress is more flattering to you, and which goes best with the rest of your wedding?  Both are beautiful, so I think either choice will look lovely.  Good luck!

I actually like the original dress better. And I agree that getting a button-up dress that is form-fitting like that altered to fit you perfectly probably won’t give you much time for changes if they aren’t done perfectly the first time, so you might have to pay for the rush alterations. But your call, they’re both beautiful.

Wow they are completely different styles!!  I would go with the one you love and the one that best fits your personality and the look you’re going for on your wedding day.
