I just received my E ring from an Etsy seller. She was a pleasure to work with and was always available to answer any of my questions and concerns. So overall I had a great experience. Looking at this page I may be a little apprehensive for two reasons:

1) They’ve only had 134 sales and 27 reviews. It looks like they have a solid 5 stars though. However, that’s pretty low for what I’d feel comfortable with when deciding on buying a big purchase.

2) Their english is very poor, I would want to know for sure where this is being made and all of that. Not saying that anything is wrong with the quality of their jewelry, but it doesn’t seem very professional in my opinion.

I would message them and see how quickly they respond, and how friendly and helpful they are. Payments are through Etsy so if you didn’t receive the item you can report the company. However it was good to see that they have a return policy.

Good luck!

I have purchased a lot of things from Etsy (including my veil and wedding dress) but not my ring, so hopefully I can give a bit of useful advice.

Personally, I’m not sure if I would make a purchase from a seller who only has 27 reviews. Also it says that it ships from the United States but not where, and there are a LOT grammar errors under the descriptions. I know that sometimes shops are able to lie about where they actually are located, i.e. it states they are from the US but are actually located in China.

Personally, I would be wary, but if you REALLY love their rings I would suggest contacting several of the Etsy members who left reviews on this shop. Ask them where their rings were shipped from, if they had any problems, and if they would recommend the shop. Also ask to see pictures of what they purchased. I would definitely do this before you place an order!

Good luck bee! I have had many successful purchases from Etsy, I hope this works out for you!

My DH ordered my engagement ring from Etsy (from Rosados Box)! I can’t say we were really all that apprehensive about it even from the beginning because we read the reviews, but we were BEYOND thrilled. He knew I would love it as soon as he saw it.

Just wanted to encourage you with an Etsy success story… If you want it, you should definitely go for it.

I got my ring from etsy (LoveForeverJewelry) and I am extremely happy with my purchase. I definitely recommend messaging people who have left reviews to get more information from them. I did that and it helped solidify my decision to choose the etsy seller. What ring are you looking at?

I got my ring from RAMJewelers on Etsy and love it very, very much. The jeweller also operates a storefront in Washington State, which reassured me of the legitimacy. Josh (the jeweller) was so helpful and took the time to really personalize my ring. I can’t wait to get my wedding ring from them.

The red flags for your store are that the English is quite bad, which makes me question the legitimacy, and I cannot find anything when I google the name. I don’t judge so much based on the number of sales, they only set up in 2015 and may not use Etsy as their primary point of sale. I second the first poster, start a dialogue with them and see how you feel.

oybsorc :  Just bought my platinum wedding band. It wasn’t marked since its from 1900, but I trusted the seller who had over 1000 feedbacks. My ring turned out to be legit. This seller only has 27 as others have stated. For all you know they could be friends and family. I hated to sound like a debbie downer, but I’d keep searching. What design do you love from this seller? And is it common? For instance it is a halo? Could it be reproduced by another?

I’d agree with the other posters – I love my ring from etsy, but right from the word go I had links to Anna’s website, she offered to skype me to help design the ring an was always on hand when I had a question.

I’d contact them and see how you feel after you’ve exchanged some messages.

Etsy is great to buy from. I’ve made many Etsy purchases – and never once had a problem (and I’m in Canada – so I have to deal with International shipping). Etsy is very good (like Amazon) for clearing up any problems if you’re dissatisfied.

For those that have had great experiences, can you please share the link to the etsy store?  Sometimes, it is really difficult to find the store using just the name.

rcanlyn :  I highly recommend Julia from JuliaBJewelry on Etsy. She has a huge varitey of rings that she’s designed herself and her jeweler then creates them. You can get about any kind of color and stone you can think of. I highly recommend her for custom work. She purchases the gems too. Very quick response time and very helpful!

I absolutely adore the ring I got from her and she has plenty of other reviews from highly satisfied customers!

I can show you my ring if you care to see it.

rcanlyn :  I would love to show it to you! lol So my ring is a custom and a good example of the simpler styles she has. (A lot of her work is generally blingy) She had some of the most unique designs I’ve seen including the most gorgeous bezels. I fell in love with the swirly peekaboo on my ring. She helped me choose the right stone when I talked to her. I wanted a moissanite but knew nothing about them. I told her I wanted it to be as white as possible so she recommended the Forever One Moissanite. She then told me where she purchases it from and said it would come with a certificate and all of that, which it did!

My ring in total was just over $1500 and I think her rings are very reasonably priced! That was a huge selling point.

So here’s my ring, a 7.5mm approximately 1.5 carat F1 Moissanite set in a milgrain bezel with a swirly peekaboo. The ring size is 5.5 with a 2mm band. I wish I had a picture to share with it on my finger but I have to wait for the official proposal with it =P

I haven’t used that specific etsy shop in the past, but I did get my Engagement Ring from this one: https://www.etsy.com/shop/loveforeverjewelrysv?ref=l2-shopheader-name

It was a custom made rose-gold and 1.5 carat equivalent F1 moissanite, with matching wedding band. She was such a pleasure to speak with, and answer all of my 5000 questions within a half hour of messaging her. The ring was designed, shipped, and delivered within 2-3 weeks, and I can’t speak highly enough about the quality. I would totally suggest it to anyone considering e-ring/band/bridal set from Etsy.
