I guess that depends on how many guests you’re having? Paying $4 a chair for 50 guests isn’t too bad but for 300 guests, that adds up fast!

That IS a great price for those chairs tho, everywhere else I’ve seen is $10+ a chair. And the only chairs I remember from weddings are the crappy, uncomfortable or clearly ripped and repaired with tape kind lol

If I understand the offer correctly from your description, the chairs are usually $4 (which is insanely low to begin with) and then theyre BOGO, making them $2 each, and then your whole order is 30% off, making each chair $1.40. I think you’d be absolutely insane to not get much nicer chairs for $1.40 pp. In my opinion, they’ll look a lot nicer than chair covers for less money than a cover costs in my area.

We spent $8pp on chiavari chairs, and I loved them —

My venue had ugly white plastic folding chairs and I did not like them at all – but, I tried to save money as much as possible and decided it wasn’t worth it to rent better chairs.  The ugly chairs are barely visible in my wedding photos, though.  It sounds like I’m saying don’t rent the nice chairs…when I’m in fact saying “go for it”:)

I spent $9/ chair for about 30 chairs with delivery and set up. It was the only thing we rented so they were expensive. We spent more on those chairs than I did on my dress! And… SO worth it! I would do it a hundred times over again. It was my one splurge. I felt like the venue provided chairs would have stood out while the chiavari ones blended right in. Maybe my guests didn’t notice or care but I did and it was well worth it.

MsSparrow:  we went with “garden glam” — I don’t think they were uncomfortable at all. They had pads on them and we were up after dinner mingling and dancing anyway!

I’d still vote for chiavari!! 🙂

They’re so uncomfortable and didn’t feel sturdy at all. I would pass.

Get them. They add so much to any decode. We got them and spent so much more than that. Here is a photo without the room totally set up yet but it couldn’t look nearly as good with any other option.

MsSparrow:  Yeah the mahagony chivari chairs were included at our venue but they wiggled a little too much, and I am a petite lady. I opted for these chairs (also included) instead because they matched our colors and just felt better overall (not my picture/wedding).

I say get them.

I’m like you…we’re getting married once so we’re going all out.

We are paying $6 a chair for 300 guests.

I wouldn’t say it was a hard and fast requirement, but I tried to make sure the venue we went with had the chiavari chairs already because they look so much nicer than other chairs. I would say go for it! especially at that awesome price.

We did and it was worth it! Chairs a are so prominent that the way they looked definitely impacted the ambiance. I felt it was worth it. I would not have gone any other way.

I love them.  We ordered them and didn’t regret it.  They just look beautiful in formal setting!
