Probably photography…it’s a guilty pleasure of mine!

I can’t think of anything to add that won’t already be there, so I would put 10% back in to cut our costs.

Wedding band.  It this doesn’t count, it would be toward a wedding dress and photography.

10% more of our total budget would be $9k. So I would up the antie on the flowers.

We’re not having any because we’re having it in a very small town and have 2 hire: 2 police officers ($200/ea) 2 bartenders ($150/ea) security deposit for the venue ($200-I think) and all the alcohol/mix ins. It’s just not worth it for a 4 hour reception, especially since that cost more than our venue.

Either that… or more food.

I would have spent more on flowers and decor… and a wedding cake rather than cupcakes… Or transport. So many things really.

An extra 300? Maybe I’d get my hair and makeup done :).

With $400 I would get us a hotel room for the wedding night so we can spend it alone while our family stays in the beach house. And/or we could do something fun after the wedding – like parasailing maybe.

If I had an extra $1,000 I would hire mariachis.  I want them to start playing right as we leave the ceremony and follow everyone to the reception area then continue to play for cocktail hour.  I’m still keeping my fingers crossed that we can work them into our budget, we are just in the beginning stages of planning.  It’s one of the few things that I want, but I know the day is more important to Fiance so she gets nice flowers and I get no mariachis 🙁

It would not be much but it would help.  I would use it to pay down a few more deposits on vendors.  BUT I would really want to use it to book the honeymoon, so maybe that.
