I think I’d only tell my Fiance and a few close friends. I wouldn’t want everyone finding out all the details beforehand.

It seems like most of them have let others know. But like some of you I think I’d want to keep things a surprise to most of the guests. It would make them more special.

I told my Fiance about weddingbee and was singing “Ima bee” and he looked over my shoulder and goes “You posted over 100 times?! You have to stop.” I just laughed. Doesn’t he know that I get out all my crazy wedding energy on here so HE doesn’t have to talk about wedding stuff all the time? 🙂

I think I would have just told a few people.  I am not sure I’d wanting everyone knowing the details, but more than that, I wouldn’t want them knowing the nitty-gritty of everything that went into planning those details.

I kind of wish I hadn’t told people. Not that I’ve ever talked bad about someone, or even wanted to, but you lose that option once people know about your blog.

I never told my family that I had a personal blog, until I became a bee blogger. But I knew my mom knew about Weddingbee, so I felt I had to tell her, or else she would find out on her own and be hurt I didn’t let her know.

Now that the cat is out of the bag, there are going to be very few surprises for guests at our wedding. My mom tells everyone about Weddingbee now. Including strangers, like the lady at the register at the bridal shop.

I’ve raved about weddingbee to all my close friends so I’d tell them, but probably not my fam, exept Fi. I tend to vent on here and it’s not for some eyes.  😉

i don’t think i’d tell anyone. N probably wouldn’t care, and i wouldn’t want anyone else to know the details. i think the less people know the less they’ll voice their opinions about how they don’t like something.

I only told Mr. Star and my Maid/Matron of Honor until after the wedding, when I announced it to everyone via facebook. It was hard to keep it a secret at first because I was so excited, but I really like the way I did it. No secrets were spoiled beforehand, but now our friends and family love reading my recaps! Best of both worlds!

I  wouldn’t keep my wedding blog a secret. But then no one in my family can keep a secret, so maybe my opinion is out of necessity rather than choice. 😉

I would like to think that I would keep it a secret… but I’m terrible with secrets and would probably end up shouting it from the rooftops and spoiling the surprise! Foot in mouth

i’m not a blogging bee, here, but i do blog all the dirty details of my wedding-to-be on a personal blog and have chosen not to share the details with anyone not directly needing to be involved with the wedding.  we’re planning our wedding from CA to be held in New Husband, so i have utilised the blog as a communication device, more than anything.  only our parents, wedding party and vendors have access to it – as i’d hate to spoil all of the fun for all of our guests!

I would probably try to keep it a secret, but I would probably spill the beans.

@star- that’s awesome you were able to keep it a surprise! I wonder what most of the blogging bees have done?

aside from my mister, the only other person i’d probably tell would be maybe my sisters and my bestie. they all know i blog anyway so it wouldn’t be that big a deal.

I have a public blog that i share with friends and family. I love it, but sometimes I lament that there are rants I can’t make, and funny stories I can’t tell because someone might be offended. I recently started a wedding blog that is just for me. No one reads it, but I can blog about all the wedding details, about all the annoying stresses along the way and not worry that I’ll let the cat out of the bag, or hurt someone’s feelings. Best of both worlds, I guess.
