It depends on body type. These dresses don’t work well for anyone with larger boobs. They just don’t have any support. But if your girls are skinny they would be cute!

It wouldn’t work for my body type. All of the girls in that picture look to be roughly the same size. Anyone larger would probably have an issue.

OP, I have a large chest and I’ve yet to find a strapless bra to hold these puppies in. Especially with a dress like that, it would just never work.

Do you have a picture of how low the back is? Would it be possible for girls with larger chests to wear a normal bra and make the dress in a style so that the straps don’t show?

@chocolatecoveredstrawberry:  It depends. If she already has a really good strapless that she wears and thinks is supportive and comfortable, you could wear that and then tac it to the bandeau so it doesn’t slide. The fabric for these dresses can also be very clingy which can be unflattering on heavier girls. I would just make sure the girls get to try them on (with appropriate undergarmets) before you buy. And take pictures/notes of how each one wants to wear them so you can remember on wedding day.

@Puffthemagicdragon:  my sister is the same, she *cant* wear any kind of strapless bra. so needs a bridesmaid dress that will allow her to wear a normal bra. i dont know if those would allow a normal bra, even with straps they seem kind of thin

For my sis i bought her a dessy dress, got an etxra length of fabric and the seamstress is making thick straps to add to it (as it was strapless)

Those dresses tend to have pretty poor back coverage unless you tie them just right. I’d be open to trying one on but wouldn’t be thrilled if you just sent it to me and said “This is it” without me trying it on. What kind of bra I can wear is a big deal for me, and low backs are tough on that.

I bought one of these to see if it would work for my bridesmaids, and I found it frustratingly difficult to wear it.  It is SO HARD to follow the directions in the vidoes posted.  I don’t believe in having to work hard to get dressed…so I would say if you can figure out how to wear them with ease, they’re fine.

If it;s possible to wear a normal bra if they want to I would say go for it! Super cute 🙂

It depends on the body type. Me, personally…I’m not sure if I could wear it. I’d wear it if the bride said to wear it, because that’s how I am. But this dress looks like with the wrong bra, it could completely change the look (as in make even a smaller-chested girl look droopy.)

When I was a bridesmaid, my friend bought them for us. We did not enjoy those dresses. They were uncomfortable and felt like it would fall off at any moment. However, they didn’t. But they weren’t the most amazing dresses ever.

We used those bras that just stick on and don’t have any straps or anything. It worked out.
