Hmmmm I think id want a scavenger hunt! Sending me to get my nails & toes done! (I RARELY get them done lol) & shopping for an amazing outfit. With special messages at each place. & finally seeing him in the end for a couples massage lol! Maybe in the spring so the weather is nice. The ring I don’t really mind what kind.

I want a relaxing proposal. Lol I think it would help my anxiety

I think it would be somewhere quiet, like a beach or a park, with just the two of us,and maybe someone hidden somewhere to take pictures.I just want something sweet, heartfelt and simple.

We would design a custom ring together, and when it was done, we would go pick it up together and say “let’s get married” and then we would. The end.

Sometimes I feel like I’m the only person in the world who’s never thought about this! Are there any other bees who just haven’t considered it?

As an avid sports fan, let me just say that one thing that NO ONE will answer is “I wish he’d propose in a noisy, crowded stadium on a Jumbotron, as 35K people clap and the mascot hands me roses.” Because there’s never a reason to do that!

Definitely alone, or secluded. No family or friends or stadium nonsense.

I’ve always wanted to get engaged at the CNE (Canadian National Exhibition) in late august… My grandparents met there back in the 40s, so it’s an important place to me. Also where SO and I went on one of our first dates (carnival date, it POURED rain and we had to run through the fairgrounds to get cover, crazy romantic)

but if I know my SO, he won’t even plan a proposal. I would put excellent odds on us being at our local pub on Friday night, me asking what he wants to do next, and him saying “well I thought maybe we could get married”. 50% chance he has a ring on him.

And honestly, if that’s how it went down, I would LOVE it. It would be so him and so us.

I don’t know what my ideal proposal would be…

But we are going to Niagara Falls in May, and I think this is where he is planning on doing.. I have been searching online for places that he might choose to do it there… So many options! I’m sure he will surprise me…

futuremrss2016:  this is going to sound so lame but even if I could plan my dream proposal exactly how I wanted it, it would still be the same way my fi proposed to me. He doesn’t really have a romantic bone in his body and somehow he managed to a) completely surprise me and b) plan a proposal that was completely in tune with who I am, the things I love, and who we are as a couple.

We were staying a rustic resort in the mountains. The first day we spent getting massages and pampering ourselves (I of course got my nails done not knowing what was going to happen) and the next day we had a picnic at the lake and then we went for a hike. When we reached the top of the mountain with a the most beautiful view he handed me a book that said, “The greatest love story of all time.” I love to read so I was really touched he had thought to get me a gift I’d love. I opened it and it was blank inside and when I looked at him totally confused he said, “This is the story of our love that we will write for the rest of our lives.” Then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was my dream proposal.

I’d love a simple, SINCERE proposal.

Somewhere in nature or overlooking some pretty nature. I used to want to be proposed to on a beach.

I now live in a mountain state.

When I daydream I think of either at the beach on sunset or taking a small hike and having a homemade packed picnic at the summit with champagne and him proposing that way, and either way I’d be in a dress and it’d be somewhere between spring summer or fall …so nice weather 🙂 and I used to imagine a puppy proposal haha but we’re abt to get one…and im the one pushing for it so nevermind a surprise with that …but I imagine maybe the puppy being a part of executing the proposal.

He would tell me sweet things like how much he loves me and wants to spend his life with me etc….hahahha.

And as for the ring, just something simple and classic that he felt was “me”!

Ughhhh but he’ll never ask what I like in terms of proposal or ring 🙁

Really simple and sincere is all I want. And even if it doesn’t happen the way I described on a beach or hike I’d love anything g he came up with on his own. I really don’t want a dinner proposal though. Haha.

He’s always been pretty good and being thoughtful and planning/surprising awesome things so I’m excited for what he’ll do!

I got what I wanted–an honest proposal.

The setting did not matter so much as the person asking.  He told me his dreams, his insecurity, his love.  He asked because he sincerely believe in our team.  And I said yes because I do too.
