How would you accessorize this dress. It will be white, not ivory(sample) and I am not a huge dangly earring girl. I want a veil and possbily a headband for the reception but i dont know if a ribbon one will distract from the back of my dress? I have my shoes picked out and color
trying on a veil but would not have the ribbon edge and possibly 2 layered. Does it distract from the back?
Here is how it will look in white and fitted with the slip too (thx to @banana25!)
shoulder detail on right side
I am having a winter theme and lots of blue silver and white, I want some blingy earrings and headband. Or maybe a birdcage and a simple rhinestone headband pushed back to wear for the recep.

I think you need a simple, raw edge veil and I think that it could be a little longer – like elbow or fingertip length. The one you have on cuts the back detail at a weird spot.
If you do the veil, then simple earrings would be fine. The top of the dress is so detailed that I don’t think you need much.
After the ceremony you can take off the veil and do a headband or hair flower and keep the simple earrings.

if you are going to wear a veil I would make sure it goes past the detail of the dress on your back. The first pic the veil stops right at the open design distracts from the detail. I think it would look good longer and sheer so that you can see the design. 2nd option to wear something shorter all together.

@scadadle15: these are what I was thinking for earrings from Zales and they are sapphire(my b-stone) I could and would wear them again!
something like this for reception just pushed back and attached to this headband, not that hairstyle!

That dress is gorgeous! I agree that the veil should be longer than the back detail, or shorter. I kind of think a birdcage veil might be a bit too much with the beautiful detail of the dress, but if it’s pushed back then I think it would be lovely. 🙂

@cherryblossomlove: I like the updo with a nice tiara or head band look. Specially with that dress. As PPs said you don’t want a veil that “cuts”the back detail, either longer or shorter.

@Coffee cup: longer is good:) Elbow length I think
