This.  I would never, because having a visible tattoo like that is just not my style, but I love it.

I’d get this on my ribs (its popular and it’d be painful so prob not in the cards)

I have 7 others but when I get another one I think it will be a giraffe or an elephant.

I have 8, so not really planning on any more ink for a while.  If I were, bolder? edgier?  maybe I would get a quarter sleeve.  No idea WHAT it would be though.  I like the over the shoulder/back/upper arm tattoos when done tastefully & not too masculine.  I already have a foot tattoo & one on my ribs (from my lower ribs to the top of my hip) and those were definitely the most painful.  I have one on my thigh, back, and several on my ankle- none of those were terribly sensitive.  I drew most of my art, or at least a sketch of it for my artist to perfect, so they are all personal & special to me.  If I were to get another one, it would have to be something special and forever.

Oh, this got me thinking… I was thinking about getting a 26.2 tattoo on my butt.  I did a marathon this past spring & have another one this fall, and the 26.2 is the total number of miles in a marathon.  Even if I never, ever ran another step in my entire life, I will still be a member of the “marathon club”… so I would totes get that on my rear.  Nobody can take that accomplishment away from me 🙂
