My kid would be 13. I’m 27 now. That’s so weird to think about lol. I do have an almost 8 year old now so I’m still a “younger” mother

Seven, the number of years I’ve been married.
What’s cool is that we actually have an almost six-year old granddaughter through DH’s oldest child and his wife, who are in their early 30s.

Funnily enough I have a 14 year old stepson (FI is 7 years older than me), and sometimes when my stepson and I go to the shops together you do see people looking at the two of us and trying to work out what the relationship is because I would have been a SERIOUSLY young mother if he was my child. We look nothing alike though so I think people realise very quickly that he’s not my biological child.

Wow, these are great responses! It’s especially interesting to see the bees with a large age gap between their actual children and their hypothetical first-time-oopsie. I have a friend who is a young mom (she has a 6-7 year old and she is 26) and she gets weird looks as it is, I can’t imagine becoming a mom before I was even 20.
