gingerkitten :  2 and a half years old. How strange to think about! I was 23, I wasn’t waiting for marriage but my inner motto was to not have sex with someone who I wouldn’t want to raise a kid with…. Needless to say that meant I waited a relatively long time 😂

I guess using my waiting logic, if I got pregnant that first time it wouldn’t be the worst thing that could happen. I am married to him now and all that.

I used to think about this all the time. I also think about it in terms of my relationship with my Fiance, like “if our relationship was a baby, they’d be in 2nd grade right now!” Or things along that line. As for my hypothetical first time baby, they would be 14, and would be one year younger than I when I had them. Ahhhhhhh.

I could have a 16-year-old. So yes, at 32, I could be a grandmother.

I was adopted, and my biological mother was 15 when she had me. Dear God.

I’d have an 18 yr old! Yikes!

i have a friend who had a baby at 18 (I think) and her daughter had a baby at 17. So she’s now a grandmother at the ripe old age of 35! And she is a YOUNG 35. It’s pretty crazy.

I was almost 18, like two weeks before lol. So I would have a 3-4 year old. The dad would have been terrible too so thank God for birth control and learning from bad decisions. Now Fiance and I think we’ll wait another 3-4 years after getting married next year before TTC.

13. That freaks me out. That’s a little older than the kids I teach! My students were born the year I graduated high school, which makes me feel really old!

gingerkitten :  my fake kid would be 11, i’m 29. that said i don’t want any kids ever, so even if i’d gotten pregnant i wouldn’t have a kid, but it is weird to think about. i live in an urban area where people become parents in their mid-late 30s, but i grew up in a super rural area where it’s not uncommon to be a grandmother in late 30s. different strokes.

I grew up im a small town where teenage pregnancy was common. I even knew a girl who gave birth two twins at 13. I vowed not to have sex until I turned 18 and was done high school and moved out (and was on the pill) because I did NOT want that to happen to me! If for some reason it did my baby would be turning 10.

Considering I’m pregnant with baby #1 right now, that messes me up even more to think about it!
