So my Fiance and I were sitting on the couch tonight, and looking through this catalog of wedding related stuff, and he said “I wish we could have a bounce house! That would be so much fun.” Granted, it would be fun, but definatly would not fit our semi-formal church wedding ideal. So I asked him what else he would have and he said “We could have a poker table, and we could do big screens in the back and do gaming. It would be a blast!” hmmm. OK-I don’t know if his ideas are crazy or if his wedding vision just sounds more fun than mine. If your Groom planned the wedding, what would he probably do?

my husband kinda did – we eloped to a tropical island and i thought the ceremony should be in the owners private garden overlooking a cliff with just us and the minister and 2 witnesses
he picked a spot right in front of the dive shop on the islands main beach with 50 strangers watching, the diveshop compressors running as the bridal march, a drunken band including homeless guy with bottle and spoons who was wheeled in on a wheelbarrow and Eddie the barman as his best man who had to keep sneaking off to serve customers – wouldnt change a thing!

@Mollytov: hahaha – i would have to go to my moms to get the album. we didnt have a photographer and gave our cameras to a couple of people watching so we only have a handful of pics. i have a good one of a drunken guitar player in a wheelbarrow and there is another one where a topless sunbather is lying near our wedding arch

We would have done the religious ceremony and that’s it. Granted, that’s originally what I wanted to but decided against it because not many of my family (my Father included) or friends would have been able to attend the ceremony which they would not have been happy about 🙂

If my husband had it his way, he would of picked the camo vest/tie when choosing his tux, and we would have eloped in a little chapel in Reno.

@ladyjustice:LOL my guy would get married in his Fighting Illini sweatshirt and his cubs hat, if I let him! I don’t think he would care at all what I wore. He seems to like me just fine in jeans. Last time I wore a dress he said “Hey, you got legs!” LOL

He wanted to have our entire wedding – ceremony and reception in my front yard. Sure, it’s ocean view, but it’s a TINY patch of grass on a busy street. No thanks! Haha.

Omg…my Fiance would cut the guest list by a lot, he’d play NO Greek dancing music and play all rock music instead…and he’d serve Czech and Belgian beer. 🙂

My Fiance probably would have asked everyone to come dressed up as their favorite comic book superhero. He saw a picture of someone who did this and posted it on fb and my mom was not very happy about it.

If my groom planned the wedding, we would’ve just shown up and gotten married, then listened to an iPod playlist and drank booze that was sitting on a table. It’s not that he wouldn’t have had big exciting ideas, but he wouldn’t have gotten around to executing them, and nothing would’ve been done. I asked for his input in planning, and luckily we had a similar vision, though I think he would have done without the dancing and photobooth (which ended up being huge hits, so in his face!).

Oh Mr.A & I have had this conversation! He lives wrestling and if he could, our whole wedding would center around it. I have a video of him, one of the Groomsmen, & Gramma Awesome throwing around ideas such as disco balls, Groomsmen in wrestling tights & kickpads, fan signs, the works… hilarious! Let me follow that up by saying that as long as he is willing to let me have a “normal” wedding day, I have agreed to do a wrestling themed reception down the road when his brother is able to be here. Why not? I get to buy a crazy new dress, have a big gathering of friends, and watch my guy have fun! rofl
