We are purchasing a Bose bluetooth portable system. It’s $299…we are considering it an investment.   As a DJ or a rental isnt.  At least we’ll have something for the home  that we can use on a regular basis.

Go to their site. They have cheaper portable options for iPods and stuff.

@LadyMoriarty:  We are renting the equipment…It’s costing us $175.  The equipment is a package that comes with 2 powered speakers, a mixer, microphone and cabling

Rental with setup for the speakers, mic, and ipod stuff was only about $125.

You won’t lose connectivity when you connect your device to the Bose through Bluetooth if the  two are within 30 feet of each other.
